Access to the premises is by three steps, each 17cm high, handrail on right hand side going up, grab rail on left hand side going up. There is a low level bell by the front door to get assistance.
We have a short portable ramp to aid wheelchair access. When in position, the gradient of the ramp is 1 in 3, please note that this is not the recommended gradient for a self-propelled wheelchair user. Any trained bar staff/volunteers and committee members are happy to set it up for you and push your chair, if required, as long as you do not feel it is too steep for you. You are welcome to ring the club, 020 8992 4557 (after 7pm), to check that appropriate assistance will be available when you arrive.
Toilets have step free access from the bar, but may not be wheelchair accessible because of the narrow corridor and doorways. Similarly access to the garden is restricted by the same corridor.
Bar staff are happy to carry your drink to your table.
The Joe Sherman Room, upstairs, is accessed by flights of stairs with handrails on both sides.

West London Trades Union Club apologises for the fact that it is not fully accessible. We are actively investigating ways of improving access.
