Regular events

  • Sundays: Quiz (20.00h, £1 entry). We are now raising money for Mayor of Ealing’s charities: EASE Ealing and A.P.P.L.E. 
  • Mondays: Games night (c.20.00h).
  • Third Wednesdays of the Month: Discussion Wednesday: Please email bookings@wltuc.com if you have any suggestions or would like to lead a discussion. 
  • Third Saturdays of the Month: Film club (16.00h).
  • Fourth Thursday of the Month: Join Ealing Friends of the Earth (EFOE) for ‘Green Drinks’, all welcome!(c.19.00h).

    Following the find of a tape made by Ewan McColl for the Club, Colin Lomas and friends will lead an evening of poems, songs and recollections of the strike.  Contributions - songs, poems, stories are very welcome - contact Colin.  Contributions need not be specifically connected with the miners strike but should promote the importance of trades unions.  Also the important right to strike and picket which these days is quietly but persistently under attack.

    The Club is delighted to announce that Pete Brown is to give a talk at the Club on Friday 2 December at 8pm.    Pete Brown is the author of many books on beer and has recently written Clubland: How the Working Men's Club Shaped Britain, which is to be featured as Radio 4's Book of the Week over Christmas.      Pete will be signing books after the talk, if you are in need of a last minute Christmas present.
